When Dr. Truong was a resident in Orlando, FL, he had a positive impact on me in a way he probably didn’t understand. He took time with a scared teenager that most Doctors wouldn’t take. He had only seen me 2-3 times before. But when I was being admitted for observation, i recognized him in the hallway. He recognized me as well and took my wheelchair from the transporter, brought me into my room and sat down to get caught up on why i was admitted in his absence. He wasn’t a part of the resolution to my issues but the compassion and attention he showed to my wellbeing has always stood out. I’m an adult now and working in healthcare. I know more than ever how rare a caring and patient physician can be, especially on the hospital side of medicine. Thank you for your 1st class bedside manner, Dr. Truong. I hope you continue to be a blessing to anyone in your care.
