I had the good fortune of seeing Dr. Thorne after the nephrologist that was recommended to me was no longer practicing. I was newly diagnosed with a genetic kidney disease at a young age and was still processing the news. Dr. Thorne was very kind and professional and took the time to answer all my questions and reassure me (without giving false hope) about my prognosis and treatment plan. He is mild-mannered and calm and is not dismissive of your concerns or questions. I feel optimistic that I have a good doctor who is truly invested in my care and well-being. I highly recommend him and his staff!
