Patient Reviews

I went to Dr McCall after my optometrist advised that my cataracts had progressed to the point of impeding my vision. A friend referred Dr McCall and I'm glad he did. Every appointment was timely, the office runs most efficiently and professionally. Every interaction was positive, and the cataract surgery, which we upgraded to a lens that corrected my astigmatism, yielded amazing results. For the first time since I was eight, I can see without glasses or contacts. It is amazing! One tip: prepare yourself before you go. Gather as much information as you can and take any questions that you might have with you. The appointments with Dr McCall are very short with a whirlwind of information. I made two changes in the type of surgery I chose after the initial appointment because I admittedly did not do a thorough study of what options I had. There is not a lot of conversation, just a short visit with a quick description of the three basic options. Learn as much as you can before you go!

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
