Dr. Uzma Shahzad is dedicated to her patient. She takes the time to explain in detail and care in lay terms so the diagnosis, treatment and path forward is clear. My husband developed a staph infection following a surgical error at which time she was consulted. Resulting in (3) three major surgeries in the following months. He remained in crisis for over 8 months following. She remains a Dr. that can be trusted and truly cares about her patient. I will forever be grateful for her thoroughness and consistency throughout an incredibly hard and scary time in our lives. Dr. Shahzad remained vigilant and dedicated to his care which is a true testament to her character and dedication to the medical oath taken.
