Patient Reviews
Apr 21, 2024
I was Rescue rushed to Memorial Hospital ER (University) for the multiple broken bones and internal injuries that I received as a passenger in an head on auto crash. My seatbelt saved me from going through the windshield, but the impact ripped a 30” tear from my pubis bone up across to the my back tearing my appendix of my ascending colon. Dr Sim performed the clean up of these organs, rejoined the colon, did a complete hysterectomy and to heal my colon, he also performed an ileostomy. A year later he successfully performed a laparoscopic ileostomy reversal. I received great care from Dr Sim.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
