Seriously, Dr. Lerner is a miracle worker. I had a 12cm fibroid and 21 week enlarged uterus that needed to come out due to debilitating pain. I am a very slow healer and was very concerned about the healing process. So, I wanted a vNotes surgery. It's only one internal incision instead of the 3-6 external incisions you get with other minimally invasive approaches. I interviewed 3 doctors, all of which said I wasn't a candidate. Then, I met Dr. Lerner. She was willing to do the surgery and was so kind and informative throughout the whole process. Totally worth the wait time, because unlike others, she really takes time to understand your situation and come up with a solution! She even called me on the weekends to check in, unprompted. I am 7 weeks post op and it was a total success. What a gem! Seriously, I can't thank her enough! Her staff is also the best (Nina! Pauline!). They are very quick to respond and help with paperwork. I am grateful! Imagine if all doctors could be like this!
