Dr. Laluz and I entered into a Dr./Patient relationship recently and I have had two visits with him. I have found him to be thorough, caring, and totally competent. I am confident of my assessment for at least two reasons. Firstly, to take me on as a patient is no easy matter. As many people in my demographic stratum (70+) my medical history is long, deep and complex involving some chronic disease and many surgeries. Despite this Dr. Laluz rapidly grasped my individual needs and set up a plan to take responsibility for my primary care and to evaluate my ongoing care and refer to specialists when we agreed that it would be of possible value. Secondly, as someone that has spent the last 30 years of my professional life as a health care provider doing much the same job that Dr. Laluz is doing, I felt that he met all the possible goals that could be achieved in the time that we had been allotted. He is easy to talk to. His follow up on his own visits and ancillary tests is excellent.
