My sister's case was transferred to Dr Slaven after another Hospitalists approach left out confidence shaken. Dr.Slaven was extremely thorough and understood that my sister's case was extremely unique and thus one that needed both specialist and family collaboration. Dr.Slaven listened intently. She asked lots of questions, and was willing to listen to the families requests. She received consults, and never once let her ego get in the way of patient safety. She made the world of difference during our stay at Exeter Hospital. We're lucky to have had her be apart of our stay.
