I had a stroke in November 2023. It's been called cryptogenic due to none of the several previous providers I've seen being able to pinpoint the cause. I've seen many specialists since and spent thousands out of pocket in follow ups. To not have a cause identified has been unnerving to say the least. Within the first few minutes of my visit with Dr. Kung she was able to tell me the cause of my stroke from reviewing previous imaging that every other provider including those that treated me during my inpatient stay had overlooked. Now that I know for sure, I can rest a little easier and know for sure what my specific treatment will be moving forward. I am greatly appreciative of this. Dr. Kung was thorough and patient and straightforward with answering my questions, and did not rush me at all.
