Our son was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer. Surgery was the only option to remove the tumors. Dr. Viet Le was our son’s surgeon. My first encounter with Dr. Le was his online testimonial. Immediately I sense his compassion in understanding what families go through once a family member is diagnosed with cancer. Two and half weeks later we met Dr. Le to discuss the outcome of the surgery. Unfortunately, the biopsy of some fatty tissues showed the cancer had spread into the lymph nodes and it must grow somewhere to form a tumor. Luckily and hopefully, this type of cancer is a slow growth. He recommended 3-6 months checkups to determine where it might appear again. Dr. Le, may you continue with your never-ending pursuit to lessen the spread of cancer in your patients and may you never lose the desire to find new ways to combat this disease. I am so glad you are my son’s doctor. Continue success in your life work.
