I’ve always wondered how it would be to not have your Dr. at the hospital. I didn’t find out until this past week. I don’t frequent ER’s. Suffer no matter what the problem is. I’d been to one ER was told to see my primary after 3 days. Did that and he told me to go get the cat scan redone. Very dissented. I did and was sent by ambulance to SMH in Sarasota. Arrived around 11 pm. Had records and admitted directly to room. Dr. V. Patel was appointed to me. In a few hrs. Intravenous antibiotics were started. I was extremely sick. Met Dr.Patel in am. He said cat scan showed the problem and it would take at least 7-10 more days of antibiotics. The nurse, Lauren R. gave me these all nite & day to expedite fastest recovery. She was the BEST, TOO! His prompt attention and seeing the diagnosis immediately with CT and labs saved me. I highly recommend this Dr. I hope you pursue a diagnosis other than first that said FEMALE HAS BELLY PAIN CAUSE UNKNOWN. Thanks DR. V. PatelEXCELLENCE!
