Patient Reviews

Dr. George saved my life in an emergent life-threatening situation. Through multiple follow-up visits and surgeries he displayed nothing but the utmost concern for my long term well-being. He helped answered every question, as simply as possible, to confirm I understood my diagnosis and all potential outcomes. He provided clear expectations at each juncture of my treatment including what was a typical outcome, the best possible outcome and of course any undesired outcomes, whenever I asked. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone, the clinical and clerical team with him is stellar as well. There's a lot of great things happening at MUSC but if Dr. George hadn't been around when I needed him most, I don't know if I'm writing this. For anyone who is going to visit him, I can reassure you that there's nowhere else you'd rather be and nobody else you'd rather have handling your care. Thank you Dr. George, it's been a privilege and a blessing to be a patient of yours.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
