I was referred to Dr. Juakiem by another gastroenterologist on the coast because he specializes in performing EGD’s that require ultrasound. He has a wonderful bedside manner which is hard to find these days. He really takes the time to thoughtfully and thoroughly explain everything about your condition and what the next steps will be regarding the procedure that he will be performing on you. He really helped to reduce my stress and anxiety that I was having prior to meeting him regarding my health. On the day of my procedure, he once again explained everything to me. His staff is also excellent and extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed with Singing River Gastrointerogy outpatient hospital in Gulfport. They have state of the art equipment in their surgical area. Everything seemed clean and brand new. I would highly recommend Dr. Juakiem for any gastrointestinal problems or require a colonoscopy as he is an amazing physician! We are lucky to have him on the MGC!
