Without having the space here to go into detail, I want to say that Dr. Armenta is a brilliant and devoted doctor. She takes time to get to know her patients. Her qualities are necessary in the treatment of psychiatric patients. My husband has a permanent catheter, which causes UTI's. For the second time he was experiencing delirium. Dr. Armenta took an interest in his case. She got to know John, and she took time to ask me numerous pertinent questions. Finally, there was someone listening to us. It was a candle in the darkness. I am using the word "doctor" instead of "psychiatrist" because she observed that John's infection hadn't completely cleared and saw to it that he received further treatment. This is very important because physical and mental health have a close relationship. John and I feel fortunate that she was his psychiatrist.
