I have been with Dr.Spencer for about 5yrs and she has always made me feel comfortable. Finding a psychiatrist that you mesh well with is no easy find,but with Dr.Spencer she makes you feel comfortable, explains what's going on, allows you to talk without making you carry the conversation or make you feel like you are being interviewed, and helps you to get to a better place. When going to therapy I always thought it would be like TV where you go and lay on a couch with a box of tissues next to you, this is not her... With Dr. Spencer I find our time to be more like I'm talking to family or a friend, telling them my problems and getting advice. I have had really low times but she is always there and does a great job managing my meds making adjustments when necessary. Not everyone can get a Dr. Spencer so I just want to say that I am grateful to have her in my life.
