Patient Reviews
Dec 17, 2020
Dr. Hubbard is old school and that's a compliment. I have been having issues with my xiphoid process since July 2019. The first two surgeons I visited were 100% sure that the area was either a hernia or lipoma. Even when I asked if it could be the xiphoid process and explained prior issues with xiphoid; they were dismissive while sticking to their diagnosis. Unfortunately I let the second physician perform laparoscopic hernia repair during which he was surprised to see what he thought was a hernia - was actually my xiphoid process. Then enters Dr. Hubbard when (on my surgery follow-up) I inquired if there were any colleagues present that knew what to do. Dr. Hubbard came in taking time out of his schedule and spent quality time examining me, explaining the situation and remedies, and simply talking with me in a comforting and reassuring way. REAL BEDSIDE MANNER! The man even asked what I do for a living. When Dr. Hubbard received his credentials they must have broken the mold.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
