I needed parotid surgery and was prepared to drive to wherever the "experts" were, but I have Avera insurance and had to stay in network. As it turned out, Dr. Spanos is exactly the expert I needed, and he's right here in Sioux Falls, SD. He's highly competent, skilled, and experienced and performed my surgery without any difficulty. He's kind and personable and gives you time to ask questions, which he patiently answers. He's done a lot of head/neck surgery and cancer research, and I'm just so impressed with his skill and devotion to his work. He definitely has my trust and respect, and I highly recommend him.
