I went in to see him for issues with my face that I thought perhaps could be auto immune related. I was amazed at how thorough he was. He ordered lots of bloodwork, including an auto immune panel. Everything came back very high. He was more thorough than the local rheumatologist. He treated my face with laser and I can’t even believe the difference now. He did an amazing job and all of that is gone! As a matter fact, because the local rheumatologist had basically done nothing for me, he suggested I go to Mayo and made a referral. I went to Mayo and had an appointment with a wonderful rheumatologist who is actually doing something for me. Dr. Colantoni was very caring and thorough. I don’t understand the negative reviews because that was not my experience with him at all! He’s honestly one of the best doctors I have ever seen. His nurse Jane is caring and kind. I highly recommend them!
