When we first moved to East Texas, none of the pediatricians, including Dr. Rishel, were taking new patients. Our 6-month-old son had the croup, and we were really worried about him. Dr. Rishel took him in as a patient, and both our children have been with him their entire childhood and into young adults. He takes time with every patient, you never feel rushed, and explains everything in great detail. His wife has also been the nurse in his practice, and they both have treated us like family.
