I was seen at Emerald Coast Sacred Heart for what I thought was an allergic reaction. Upon getting my history, Dr Schmidt determined that after receiving the IV steroid and IV Benadryl (to little effect), that I had reacted to a blood pressure medicine that I had been taking for over two years. He immediately ordered IV Plasma that contained the correct enzyme that started to reverse the symptoms. Amazing knowledge on his part.
