He was really nice, and he helped me see that doctors do not need specialized training to work with patients with mental health disorders. I’ve found psychiatrists especially devaluing and needing an equal relationship which I find inappropriate in a care setting to meet patient medical needs. I'd never go to a psychiatrist again, pcps and crnps can manage mental health needs without the cringe mindfulness talk and moral superiority often exhibited in higher paid Mds like psychiatry. He is a real person in a sea of saviors.
