My daughter is currently a patient of Dr Loudon. She is a complex case dealing with the after effects of cysts from a terrible meningitis infection, stemming from being born at such a young age. She has been in the hospital for 140+ days and has had such a rare course of infection. Before my daughter's first surgery,I reached out to Boston Children's Hospital for a second opinion, not because I didn't trust Dr Loudon, but because I had yet to work with him and because Boston Children's was ranked #1 in the US for neurosurgery and I only have one daughter. It was a great relief to read that second opinion and see another expert echo the exact same thoughts and treatment plan that Dr Loudon suggested. Dr Loudon proceeds with care and caution. He has balanced and well thought out plans of treatment. I truly wish we had met Dr. Loudon under a different circumstance, but I am grateful my daughter is in his care. He has earned my family's trust completely. Thank you Dr Loudon.
