My friend went to him with shoulder pain, got an MRI and was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff. Dr. Wind noted an abnormality in the bone and referred him to an oncologist. Turned out that my friend has bone marrow cancer. So far his treatments are working. Without Dr.Wind's diagnostic skills, the link between the shoulder MRI and cancer would not have been discovered. We thank him daily for stepping outside his specialty and seeing a seemingly unrelated condition and recognizing it. A true healer. And a hero to us
