I was referred to Dr. Parker by my oncologist after I decided on nerve sparing surgical treatment for confirmed prostate cancer. Dr. Parker actually reviewed my medical history prior to my first visit and was fully aware of the status of my prostate cancer, based on previous biopsy and CT findings. He was also aware of my current immunotherapy for metastatic melanoma and confirmed the prostate surgery would not pose a problem. He took the time to thoroughly explain the surgical process, associated risks, and possible side effects. He involved me in every treatment decision. Dr. Parker and his team executed the robotic assisted surgery flawlessly. His personal follow-up and engagement, along with that of his clinical team, was exceptional. The cancer was fully contained within the prostate, thus Dr. Parker was able to spare majority of nerves. As a result, I retained full bladder control and erectile function immediately after the initial recovery period.
