I saw Dr Petersen for a last-minute issue and he had a last-minute cancellation. Dr Petersen had reviewed my issue with Dr Romness and both of them had reviewed my visit notes and x-rays from seeing Dr Matthew Abdel at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn earlier in the week. Dr Romness had referred me to Dr Abdel for on-going complications after infected TKA and 2 stage revision 3 years ago. I was very impressed that Dr Petersen was so familiar with my situation and that he and Dr Romness had reviewed and consulted on my case. That is why I trust OrthoVirginia--your doctors are always thorough and work together for best interests of their patients. Drs Romness, Wm Petersen, and Anthony Avery have been giving me first-rate care for my hips, knees, and shoulder since 2019. OV is very lucky to have such skilled, professional, and caring doctors.
