Patient Reviews
Feb 15, 2025
My husband needed his hip replaced and we interviewed five different surgeons who were all very highly rated in the DC area. But, by far, Dr. Petersen was the most up to date on the latest hip replacement procedures. Make sure you have the full anterior hip replacement procedures which will reduce your recovery time by at least two weeks with NO restrictions. Plus, Dr. Petersen was patient, answered all of our questions. Made sure we had the follow up care that my husband was comfortable with. I could not say enough good things about Dr. Petersen. He is a savant of joint replacement!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
