I first saw Dr. Shield after fallen in my home after both my knees gave out. He was very compassionate and explained that both of my knees were bone on bone due to severe osteoarthritis. I subsequently had 2 knee replacements 6 weeks apart. Throughout the surgery and recovery Dr. Shield was professional and kind. He really listens and cares about his patients. My recovery has been great. I would definitely recommend him for knee or hip issues.
