I have not been a patient of Dr. Tamborlane's for some time (I am now 32 and have lived in a different state for about 19 years) but this man has left a lasting impression on me. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 4 and was lucky enough to be placed under the care of such a competent and caring dr. Diabetes is incredibly scary for a kid, but he made me smile at appointments and as an adult looking back, I see the value in going to a dr. that was leading research in the field.
