Perhaps others mistake Dr. Ooi's straightforward manner with rudeness. She can be abrupt sometimes but is an excellent doctor who is well-respected and liked at Lahey. Mention Dr. Ooi to any of the staff there and they will tell you that she is a fantastic clinician. When a disease is a matter of life or death I would trust Dr. Ooi.
