On August 21st I had my second colonoscopy at Jefferson. Dr. Mitchell Conn, who performed my first one ten years earlier had just retired, and I would meet Dr. Xiao for the first time. When she came in my room, she appeared so young that I thought she was coming in to announce that my doctor would be coming in soon. Was I ever surprised when she introduced herself! She walked through the procedure with me patiently and calmly, and I had full confidence in my new gastroenterologist. When I awakened, she informed me that everything looked fine, and there were no changes observed from my previous procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Xiao, not just on the basis of her competence and expertise, but also her calm, welcoming, and comforting demeanor. She is a great doctor, whom I am blessed to have!
