My state of mind before and after my virtual appointment in July, 2021 with Dr. Sun was the difference between a grey stormy day and a cloudless clear day. After my heart attack 4 years ago, despite good care, life-style changes and medications, I lived with a nagging fear of when the next incident would be. It was clear Dr. Sun had studied my health dossier carefully. For the first time, I felt I understood what happened 4 years ago and the details of my surgery then and my condition now. In less than 24 hours, he posted the visit report and treatment details on my BWH Patient Gateway site. It was so thorough, I printed it out and googled all the clinical terms. He empowered and motivated me to understand my condition. In addition, he is engaging, sensitive and communicative. He really listens to what we say both verbally and otherwise. I feel extremely fortunate that he is my doctor.
