Dr. Hwang is simply GOLD, the cream of the crop, the most committed and deeply caring physician, who is also super talented, skilled, tenacious, wise, and smart. She once told me that she treats her clients as if they were her family members - and it shows big time! Dr. Hwang has not only been my sole primary care doctor for the past 14 years, but she was first my husband's primary care (before me). He suffered from secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. Had it not been for Dr. Hwang's amazing care, he would have suffered needlessly and been subjected to many indignities and hospitalizations due to his progressing illness, compromised immune system, and frequent infections. Dr. Hwang made it possible for my husband to receive many medical services at home, including oxygen and IV medications, along with AIM (a pre-hospice organization through Sutter/Alta Bates) to improve the quality of his life. He finally died in 2006 of complications caused by M.S. But I am eternally grateful to
