Patient Reviews
Jan 27, 2024
I traveled to Stanford for my mitral valve repair, for the state I live in does not have a Doctor who even does repair. I was nervous, for this surgery was 30 years in the making. Upon meeting Dr. Woo the day before my surgery I did not have any questions. I think looking back I was in shock of what lay ahead. The day of the surgery, got off to a slow start but once they called me back and started the process is was smooth sailing. The day after surgery Dr. Woo came in to my room and said 'I told you, I would fix you', and he most definitely did. I was discharged on the 5th day and would have liked to stay longer only because everyone, and I mean everyone I met during my time at Stanford was off the charts fantastic. I could not have wished for a better outcome. Once I found out from my local Cardiologist that surgery was required I started doing my research to find the best place and surgeon to have mitral valve repair. and that's how I found Dr. Woo.
