I retired on 12-31-2013 after practicing medicine for 45 years, in 4 states. For the first 5 years, I was a general practitioner and did some emergency room coverages, then, for 40 years, I was a solo independent practitioner in general, occupational, and forensic psychiatry. In 2007, at his invitation, I coauthored a published paper with the Chairman Emeritus of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Department of Neurology. I do not have, never have had, and will not have any personal or professional association with either Ochsner or Dr. Zheng. In recent years, I have been under the care of 5 different specialists and 4 different primary care physicians. I have provided the above background information in support of my recommendation. I regard my choice of Dr. Zheng as my primary care physician to be one of the most fortunate decisions I have ever made, with reference to my healthcare.
