After months of being dismissed by other doctors regarding my daughters obviously declining health, he visually assessed her, asked us a bunch of questions which were all of the concerns we had raised to other doctors and ordered labs. My daughter was hospitalized the day after her labs and was in the ICU for 4 days where she received 4 blood transfusions and 3 iron infusions. The hematologist told us “this was days away from being devastating”. If it wasn’t for Dr. Johnson our daughter would not be here today. Idk how I could ever thank him, I haven’t seen him since and have been looking for avenues to express my gratitude. My family and I are indebted to him. My daughter was on the brink of DEATH. He was the ONLY doctor to listen to our concerns, who doesn’t exude an egotistical God complex.
