I have a complex hip surgery history and was recommended to meet with Dr McVicker. I had sent my medical history and imaging ahead of our visit. When Dr McVicker met with me for my telemedicine appointment, it was clear that he had spent time reviewing the information I shared ahead of time and he was familiar with my situation and what I was hoping to get out of our meeting. He treated me with respect, answered my questions, and helped me establish a plan for follow up. His preparations truly allowed us to have an efficient and productive appointment. I have met with many surgeons over the years and, even though I have only had this brief meeting with Dr McVicker, I can already tell that he and his team are special and truly care about their patients and the patient experience. I look forward to following up to meet him in person and know that it will be worth the time and money to travel to see him.
