Ed is a wonderful therapist. I originally visited his practice to treat really crippling, near-daily panic attacks, and Ed gave me science-based tools to control and eliminate them (5 years later and they still haven't come back). I loved that Ed gave me concrete goals and exercises to address the problem, and helped me realize I didn't need to just live with the problem. I have returned to Ed's practice in the last year to address some day-to-day anxieties, and he is excellent on this front too. He is an engaged listener, asks questions without ever being overpowering or "steering" too much, and has never made me feel judged or ridiculous. Moreover, he has helped me notice patterns in my thinking that I would have completely missed otherwise. If you are considering meeting with Ed, don't hesitate; he is excellent.
