This is the first time I have had my annual Eye Exam at Costco. Exam was done by Dr Hundelt. She was so great. Very thorough. I opted for the extr scans that can identify the start of various eye diseases. It was a pretty incredible view of your eye, all the blood vessels, lens etc. even my floaters were visible. My last exam was with my Opthamologist and he didn’t have this technology. Anyway, it was reassuring to have this done since macular degeneration and cataracts run in my family. Dr. Hundelt went through each part of the scan for both eyes and what the image was showing. Highly recommend springing for this scan. It was only $30 extra. Total cost for glasses only eye exam (didn’t need contact fitting) was $105. And was able to get my glasses picked out immediately after at Costco receiving an additional $50 discount on those since I was getting 2 pairs. My 3 previous annual eye exams weren’t nearly as good nor were the optometrists nearly as nice and approachable.
