In direct response to the other review, it doesn't seem that the one star reviewer was ready for therapy. Emma is supportive and uplifting, but is NOT your "yes" woman. She is there to point out your flaws and indignant reactions to reflect on how you can grow from them. From my perspective, you should talk with Emma if you are ready to change yourself and not trash talk a partner or unfruitful relationship. There will be no pity parties in Emma's office. Feelings are valid, but contemplation and change are respectable. Ultimately, if you were unhappy in a relationship, you have no one to blame but yourself for not leaving sooner. As for the waiting, why wouldn't you knock on her door? She's not going to bite. Even if she is running late, she'll spare her 10 minutes before her next client and go break-less. THAT IT EXTREMELY GENEROUS OF A THERAPIST.
