I started seeing Dr. Eleen when I was 16. She was fast to accept my sexual orientation and gender identity, and the only time she asked about it was when it related to things I was going through. Sometimes we don't agree, but I believe she cares. When my mom sat in on sessions, Dr. Eleen was careful about not letting her in on more than I was comfortable with. She clearly cared about my mom too, so I respect her for that. She helped me through trauma, an ED, and making peace with my disorders.
