I worked with her when I was fifteen and struggling with friendship anxiety. She was very kind, and I felt safe telling her about my feelings and experiences. It felt very good for an adult to respect me. My mom took me out of therapy with her after three months because she thought that it wasn't working even though it was. It must be challenging to be a therapist for children since parents can get in the way.
