I first saw Dr. Welch around 1990 when he was practicing in Springdale, Ohio (suburb of Cincinnati). I was having serious ongoing neck pain after a car accident that had happened years earlier. I decided to try a chiropractor because my orthopedic doctor couldn't seem to help me. I got Dr. Welch's name out of the phone book (pre-internet days) without knowing anything about him. Short version: I got lucky. He is a kind and compassionate person, who gently treated my neck issues, and within 2-3 months I was completely pain free. I was pleased and amazed after having suffered for a few years with no help from traditional medicine. Occasionally if I sleep in an odd position, I'll get a kink in my neck again, but I'd just see him as needed and he would take care of it. He also talked to me some about general health issues (diet, exercise) in an encouraging, non-judgmental way. He moved away long ago but I occasionally think of him and how grateful I am for having found him.
