I saw Dr. Gerritsen on a weekly basis for about three and a half years, and I am eternally grateful for his help and support through a difficult time and important transition in my life. He is an insightful, knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful, and patient therapist, and I always felt like our sessions were tailored to, and reflected, my specific needs, goals, issues and personality. It’s been about a year and a half since my therapy sessions ended, and I can honestly say that I am physically and mentally healthier (and generally more stable) than I think I’ve ever been – even through a cross-country move, and navigating life in a global pandemic. I definitely have Dr. Gerritsen to thank for helping me through the healing process, and would recommend him to anyone in search of a caring, experienced therapist.
