Dr. Poupore-King is a highly qualified pain management psychologist with outstanding qualities. Dr. Poupore-King normally deals with patients who have gone through some form of trauma in their lives which causes their pain and suffering. Hence, her job is a bit complex but very critical. Dr. Poupore-King approach is by listening carefully for a period of time without sharing feedback. During that time she analyses deeply all presented data, examines the facts and identifies patterns of thoughts and behaviors that trigger or causes pain. She then helps the patient to develop corrective behaviors and defensive skills that prevents pain at its source which is the thought and the feeling. Dr. Poupore-King does not change the social environment around the patient but rather helps patients to realize nature of their surroundings and recognize the challenges then helps them through self healing and mindfulness techniques to overcome as much of those challenges.
