Dr. Hamidi is a treasure. An MD (Ob/Gyn) from Iran who has studied Eastern Medicine, acupuncture and functional medicine since immigrating to the US many years ago. She is extremely knowledgeable & passionate. She helped me immensely when Drs through my HMO & PPO (Kaiser and Hoag) could only prescribe me medications. She understood root causes and has a sophisticated understanding of treatment that is holistic and functional in that it honors both eastern and western modalities when necessary. As someone who suffered from chronic low grade fevers, hypothyroid & Hashimotos, and other issues, I was able to ween off meds and reach great health thanks to Dr. Hamidi’s acupuncture and holistic care, emotional support, and mentoring. She monitored my labs regularly (she was great at holding me accountable and helped me navigate the western med appts) and counted on data to monitor my progress on top of her own assessments. She is a scientist at heart. Hamidi truly is a gem of a human??.
