To describe the diagnostic talent and bedside manner or Ishmael as exceptional is to understate his performance unfairly.As the Primary Care Physician for me, and my 84 and 86 year old parents, he has been a literal lifesaver on multiple occasions, and outperformed multiple Specialist M.D.s from my Gastroenterologist to others seen by my parents and me.I suffer from multiple extremely complex, life threatening conditions.With well over a dozen MRIs and CAT scans, more advanced scanning and complex bloodwork: where my Gastroenterologist failed despite 3 surgeries and enormous financial cost: Ishmael researched rare conditions and got me help from a Professor and Surgeon at Wake Forest University. I believe my team of Specialists would have failed and left me to die.This man gave me a chance to live.His care of my elderly parents has been extraordinary, and dad would be dead without his medical guidance.
