I’ll begin this review by revealing my conclusion: Jameela Gourdozi is THE needle in the haystack! I first met Jameela when she was substituting for my long-term primary care practitioner (PCP). From the get-go, I was impressed. She listened. She was attentive. She expressed empathy. Then she shared her assessment and we discussed it. In short, she took the time to listen to her patient and had the patience to answer questions. At the end of my appointment, I asked her if she would become my new PCP. I would have never guessed that I would choose an NP for my PCP, but there was no way I was going to go backward! Jameela is extremely bright, knowledgeable and helpful. She is able to do everything that a PCP with a MD can do except write narcotics prescriptions ( there is always a MD in the office to sign such scripts, as necessary). It is simply so refreshing to have a PCP that treats each patient as a unique individual who may require a unique approach.
