Excellent! I first had a regular exam a few months ago. Dr. Petro is extremely competent and did an excellent job. When I had floaters and a flash of light recently, I made a same-day appointment to have my retina checked. He took time to explain how floaters are formed (part of the natural aging process when the vitreous becomes more liquid in the back of the eye) and why the flashing was occurring (the vitreous had not fully separated from the eyeball), and carefully checked my retinas in both eyes. Flashes can be a dangerous condition, but in my case, it was directly related to the floaters. His bedside manner is soothing, and he does an excellent job.
