Dr. Porter, “Jim,” is a very easy person for me to talk to, or actually, “with.” He listens and lets me speak when I feel I need to and is as compassionate as he is insightful. I have spoken with therapists over a period of decades and although I had always felt uncomfortable with speaking to a male therapist, I feel more optimistic in speaking with him than I ever have with anyone.
