Saw Dr. Whitmore 2 yrs -chronic depression. Is an intent listener, takes all the "gobblygook" you say, condenses it and presents it back in a statement of what you are really feeling/wanting to say. Never makes caustic remarks that make you feel inferior or stupid. Always asks questions about your thoughts/thought pattern and if they are beneficial to you or not. Validates your feelings, helps you improve your thought process to lead a happier healthy life. Very hard work but so worth it.
