I just spent a week with Dr. Pels on a mission trip to Dangriga, Belize. He helped serve 755 individuals in the heat and humidity over 4 days on his own time, taking time from his job to serve many people who have few resources for eye care. He moved outside to see people who could not get into the building due to handicaps and provided a home visit for a man who could not get out of his home. If you are looking for a doctor who goes above and beyond, make an appointment to see Dr. Pels.
